Data quality

How this index works

We publish a narrower set of records than we collect.

Public scope

Only stored documents classified as COAs and matched to a catalog peptide are eligible. The public view also requires a visible, non-wholesale vendor–peptide market pair.

Current record

We show the newest eligible certificate for each vendor–peptide pair. We set aside future-dated records so they cannot replace a valid current record.

Age and fields

Records more than 18 calendar months old are labeled as older. Test date, lab, lot, compound, and purity are transcribed fields and may be absent.

Names and counts

Printed laboratory text remains visible. We group obvious name variants only for counting. An uncovered listing may still have testing that is not in our index.

Scope note: A record appears on file after our pipeline identifies the document as a certificate of analysis and matches its printed compound to a catalog peptide. The record cannot prove authenticity, chain of custody, sterility, product safety, or suitability for use.

Among current records, 97% include a test date, 99.1% name a laboratory, and 85% report a purity value. Test dates in the current index run from July 2021 through October 2026.
