Prescription guide
Getting a GHK-Cu prescription.
A clinician can prescribe compounded GHK-Cu in non-injectable forms, such as topicals. FDA lists GHK-Cu, except for injectable routes, among the substances under evaluation that 503A pharmacies may compound while it reviews them. Injectable GHK-Cu is not in that category.

Questions
GHK-Cu prescription FAQ.
Can a doctor prescribe GHK-Cu?
Yes, in non-injectable forms. FDA currently allows 503A pharmacies to compound GHK-Cu for non-injectable routes while it evaluates the substance. Injectable GHK-Cu is not included.
Can I get GHK-Cu injections from a clinic?
Injectable GHK-Cu is not in FDA's category 1, so pharmacies are not covered by the interim policy when compounding it for injection. Ask any clinic offering injections which pharmacy supplies them and on what basis.
Is GHK-Cu FDA-approved?
No. Compounded GHK-Cu preparations are not FDA-approved. Cosmetic products containing copper peptides are regulated differently and do not require a prescription.
