How to interpret the comparison
Price and documentation answer different questions
Price per mg helps normalize vial sizes. COA coverage rates how many visible products have a current document in our index. Printed dates, laboratory names, lots, and reported purity tell you what each record contains. They do not add up to a product-quality score. Open the source certificates before drawing a conclusion.
Printed within 12 months
Current certificates whose transcribed test date falls within the prior twelve calendar months. Missing dates are not counted.
Reported purity field
How many current certificates carry a transcribed purity value. It measures field availability, not comparative quality.
Vendor comparison questions
- What does current COA coverage mean?
- It is a coarse rating, from broad to none found, of how many of a vendor’s visible peptide listings our index holds an eligible certificate for. We count the newest eligible document for each vendor–peptide pair. It is based on the certificates our crawler found; vendors may publish more than we index, so we do not state it as a ratio.
- Does a higher reported purity make one vendor better?
- No. Purity is transcribed from the certificate and results from different laboratories or methods are not directly comparable. A purity value alone does not establish identity, vial content, sterility, endotoxin status, chain of custody, or overall quality.
- Why can two vendors have different laboratory or date coverage?
- Vendors publish different documents, and some certificates omit a laboratory name, test date, lot, or purity field. The comparison describes what is present in our current index, not everything a vendor may have tested.
